The Essentials:

  • 1 Best Beef Flat Iron Steak (about 8 oz)
  • 5 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 loaf ciabatta bread
  • ¾ cup feta cheese crumbles
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp coarse black pepper
  • 1 cup diced Roma tomatoes
  • ⅓ cup Kalamata olives, sliced
  • ⅓ cup fresh basil, sliced
